DENIAL DOOMS HOUSTON TO NEEDLESS SUFFERING AND CLIMAGEDDON, POLITICIANS’ HEADS ON THE BLOCK...

Houston, the before and after "Harvey" in pictures

Most State and National politicians, including government agencies, have been well-briefed on the consequences of global warming currently battering Houston and other areas of Texas. In spite of those detailed briefings, many politicians and agency heads have deliberately chosen to deny the validity of the predictions...

Why would they do something like that? We believe they have ignored the global warming science for their own personal political convenience because believing or promoting global warming in Texas was political suicide. They discounted the valid science because it did not fit their political convenience and political worldview.

Because of their politically-motivated denial, these politicians failed to take the predictions seriously and evacuate Houston and other key areas. This has resulted in the needless loss of life and the costly and painful suffering of millions of Texas's citizens.

To protect the public's future safety, every politician and government agent whose politically motivated global warming denial contributed to this massive catastrophe needs to be immediately removed from office. They also should be personally sued for damages due to their gross negligence in not ordering the necessary evacuations and for failing to heed the warnings about what was going to happen in Houston and other areas because global warming was amplifying this storm.

The failed Houston evacuation catastrophe is the quintessential story of the denied consequences. It’s time to find out exactly how vulnerable you will be due to our government's denial of the coming global warming consequences.
