Using our website, educational outreach and the new Climageddon book as well as the new Job One Plan, we educate about the current reality of irreversible global warming and what to do to prepare for it and adapt to it.
For the precise definition of irreversible global warming, (which is vital to understand mission,) click here.
We achieve our mission by:
1. Helping humanity prepare for and adapt to irreversible global warming and the probable extinction of as much as 70-90 percent of humanity in as little as the next 30 to 50 years. Extinction in the not to distant future is now highly probable for most of humanity if we do not soon prepare, adapt and migrate as appropriate.
The irreversible global warming threat is due to the crossing more global warming tipping points during that period. These crossed tipping points accelerate the frequency, severity and scale of the top 20 global warming consequences. Escalating global warming truly is humanity's most pressing global challenge, great disruptor, and threat multiplier. (See the phase-by-phase global warming extinction process as it unfolds and as it is described in the Climageddon Scenario here.)
2. Helping to create new, self-organizing, independent, and sustainable eco-communities in global warming-safe locations, as well as to make sure these communities are well-prepared to survive the onslaught of escalating catastrophes we will not be able to stop no matter what we do at this point (See the Universe Community sections of this sister website for all the information you will need to do to create your own self-organizing and independent eco-community.)
3. Providing accurate facts and new strategies to the global warming educational movement to help them:
a.) adjust their no longer deadline-appropriate strategies, many of which were based on grossly miscalculated global warming timetables and consequences.
b.) prepare for and adapt to an escalating global warming future of ever-worsening catastrophes and,
c.) avoid the later extinction-level phases of the Climageddon Scenario.
4. And finally, while preparing for and adapting to this emergency, we will also work to create lifestyles and livelihoods of Sustainable Prosperity everywhere we can. (See the Sustainable Prosperity section of this website for details.)
About Our Job One for Humanity Plan to Survive Global Warming
At a minimum, the Job One plan will enable as many humans as possible to adapt, migrate, and survive longer in global warming-safe locations. At best, it will eventually help end the global warming emergency, prevent the extinction of humanity and the collapse of civilization altogether. If we do survive this great evolutionary challenge, it is our hope that enough of us will finally recognize the necessity of living more sustainably and taking better care of Earth, thus preventing another global warming emergency from ever occurring again.
The Key Job One Plan Action Goals Are:
On a personal level, prepare your emergency supplies and adaptation and migration plans. Click here for details.
On a collective level, begin moving critical infrastructure to global warming safes zones.
At a collective level, scale up and transition globally to nearly 100% renewable global green energy generation through a global mass mobilization effort.
At a collective level, scale down and reduce global fossil fuel use to ensure achieving carbon neutrality (net zero carbon) for all greenhouse gases through a global mass mobilization effort. And,
At a collective level, once we have reached carbon neutral, begin a further carbon reduction program to reduce atmospheric carbon parts per million (ppm) back down to the long-term temperature and climate-safe maintenance level of carbon 325 to 350 ppm.
How The Job One Plan Key Goals Are Executed:
Using the best science available.
Doing only what is both critical and effective in the properly prioritized sequence to save more of humanity and civilization from what is coming.
