What’s Good for Covid is Good for Climate

The Covid-19 global emergency response has been a great unprecedented success in surviving a global virus pandemic. In comparison, the worse-than-nothing response to the global climate emergency is an unprecedented policy and public health failure that humanity will not survive, if not corrected immediately.

I recently reported that January 2020 was a record high global temperature increase for the month since fossil fuel industrialization started, that it hit 1.5°C, and that the rate of surface heating has accelerated faster over the past ten years.
