This unprecedented collective moment will require wisdom, sacrifice, and enduring new hardships that humanity has never faced before to survive and thrive through our "double whammy."
Currently, we are struggling with the Covid pandemic and a global economic crisis. Unfortunately, the second part of our double whammy will be far worse. It is arriving in the form of the many consequences of these 12 unfolding major global crises.
Our Job One for Humanity action programs are based on the logic of honestly facing and dealing with these major 12 global crises. Our urgency exists because if we do not radically and immediately change our behavior, we are looking at a double whammy far worse than the Covid pandemic and a global economic recession.
We now face an unavoidable mass extinction by mid-century and total extinction before the end of the 21st century. (Click here if you think this is not accurate!)
If you are looking for intelligent actions to survive and thrive through these 12 major global crises for as long as is possible, the Job One website, the Job One for Humanity Plan, the Universe Spirit website, and the Universe eco-community model was developed to help you through in this unique moment in time.
Because of the unthinkable and unprecedented extinction consequences mentioned in the 12 crisis links above, it is appropriate to want to use your remaining time and energy wisely. This wise use of time and energy could naturally include:
1.) Doing everything you can to save and salvage as much of humanity and civilization as you can, for as long as you can. Effective action is now critical because doing nothing means losing everything and more suffering, even sooner! And, saving something while we still can is always better than saving nothing! 2.) Being a part of co-creating and living within a sustainable and safe eco-community that will help support and protect you, physically and emotionally as we persevere through these unprecedented present and future times. Click here to learn more about the Universe eco-community.
3.) Making your remaining time as personally fulfilling, meaningful, and comfortable as possible for as long as you can. When critical global crises tipping points are crossed, things will deteriorate faster than one can imagine. Therefore, the time to start getting prepared is now. The impact of the meat and dairy industries has been evaluated to be greater than all of the fuel burning transportation activities of mankind put together – cars, trucks, buses, trains, and planes. Reference the FAO report of 2006 entitled “Livestock’s Long Shadow”, and the book and Netflix video entitled “Cowspiracy”, and other books by the same authors. (Note: the lack of mention could be the result of multiple Ag-Gag laws in the country which make it illegal to publically criticize or otherwise report on negative aspects of the Agricultural industry’s impact on the environment)
The relevance is that we humans could greatly influence our future to avoid the worst of Climaggedon by 2 fairly simple actions:
1. Change our diet from animal protein based food to plant protein based food. Lucky for us there are plant based meat substitutes on the market today which are very satisfactory in terms of consistency and taste. (brands: Beyond, and Impossible. In stores countrywide) PS. This would also save our grainbelt states from running out of water in the next ten years or so.
2. Cut back on our rate of reproduction to return to a sustainable level of population – something in the neighborhood of 2.5 million on the whole planet (as it was around 1935). This could be done by limiting the number of children per woman to say 1.5 or so. The 1 allows for a child and the 0.5 allows for the buying and selling of rights to have more than one.
