Happy Holidays!

Please join us to celebrate the holidays, cruise on the SF bay, have fun at the Lighted Boat parade and, help support a worthy non profit cause, Job One for Humanity!

Holiday Fundraiser Event Details:

3:30 to 4:00 pm: guests board the decorated Universe Spirit yacht (shown above) at the Loch Lomond Yacht Club. For landlubbers, a no-host bar and appetizers are provided at and by the yacht club.

4:00 to 5:00 pm: sunset cruise on the decorated Univers Spirit yacht above

5:15 to 7:00 pm: Lighted Boat Parade (two years ago we lead and closed the parade!) If this is your first time at a lighted boat parade event, please check out this video: https://www.facebook.com/SanRafaelLightedBoatParade

7 pm to 9:30: disembark at Loch Lomond yacht club for dinner. All guests are invited back the Yacht Club to enjoy a no-host bar, appetizers and dinner. Dinner is $15 per person and is separate from your donation and paid directly to the yacht club. The $15 also includes the appetizers served earlier at the club.  (Please RSVP soon if you will be joining us for the dinner part of the event before Dec. 7th.)

Dinner Menu:

2. If you are bringing someone with you, make a second donation so we can keep the head count right.

3. If you can donate more in the holiday spirit, please do. This year, we really need to meet our holiday fundraising goal of  $15,000 by January 1. It is our operating budget for the first quarter.

4. Your RSVP will be confirmed by email with more event details, locations, and excitement.

Your tax deductible donation will directly help Job One to continue their vital mission to educate about the rapidly escalating global warming emergency and how we can survive and thrive though it.

On the Sunset Cruise

You will be able to meet the Job One executive director and some of the Job One team. You can hear first about our organization‘s plans for the new year related to our upgraded mission.

Hot cocoa and holiday cookies will be provided. Guests are also invited to bring their favorite holiday appetizer, dessert, or beverage to share.

The Yacht Decorating Holiday Pre-party

Everyone is also invited to our traditional yacht decorating pre-party from 10 am to 4 pm Saturday, Dec 2nd and possibly Sunday Dec 3rd if we do not finish. 

Please let us know by email if you want to help either day and we will send you the details. Pizza and beer will be provided for all decorating volunteers. There is no charge for helping at the decorating pre-party

We are trying to get the choir together again this year to sing on the bow like they did in 2015. The thousands of people who cheered on the sides of the canal really loved it as did we.
