the seriously incorrect and conflicting global fossil fuel reduction targets and deadlines being forwarded by event co-sponsors! And, the good news is --- there is still time to fix this!
Major environmental groups supporting the Sept 20th Climate Strike are still promoting different, incorrect, or competing global fossil fuel reduction targets and deadlines. For example, almost all environmental groups are promoting various percentage levels of global fossil-fuel reductions and net-zero carbon emissions by either 2050, 2040, 2035, 2032, or 2030.
The above varying targets and deadlines are not only inadequate or seriously incorrect they also will not give us a livable future! These wrong targets also act to thwart humanity's ability and waste the little remaining time left to execute the correct global fossil fuel reduction targets.
If we cannot get the world's major environmental groups to promote the same correct global fossil fuel reduction targets and deadlines, how likely is it that we will ever execute the proper global fossil fuel reductions with the general public?
The many environmental groups still mistakenly promoting outdated or wrong global fossil fuel reduction targets and deadlines have now become a significant part of the problem particularly if we want to prevent the predicted global warming-caused mass extinction event from occurring within our lifetimes.
