Just when you think it can't get any crazier or dumber, I was told by a conspiracy buff that climate change is actually an alien conspiracy. The details of this wacko climate change conspiracy are as follows:

1. Reptilian-like aliens have taken over many of the world's political and business leaders and some well-known celebrities. (You may have seen the many TikTok and Instagram videos about this.

2. The aliens control these leaders and get them to massively increase global fossil fuel use as quickly as possible, releasing ever more carbon and methane into our atmosphere.

3. The reason the aliens want to do this is that they want to take over the planet without a war, without destroying needed infrastructure, and without the loss of their own people's lives, but this needs a little further explanation.

And finally, here is the insane logic of this beyond-goofy new conspiracy. 

4. By continuing to increase Earth’s atmospheric carbon and methane levels toward toxic human breathing levels and by putting Earth's climate into an unstoppable runaway global warming catastrophe for decades, they not only kill off humanity, avoid a war, and save Earth’s current infrastructure, but they also do the most important single thing for them to bring their people and survive on this planet. They change the atmospheric composition from human-safe and oxygen-rich to alien-safe and carbon and methane-rich, their ideal and necessary breathing atmosphere. 

Now you know this new level of climate change conspiratorial nonsense.
